Back to the Yoga Mat in Style and with a Challenge

If you read my blog, you know that I have an on again/off again relationship with yoga. I can’t say love/hate relationship, because I always love yoga. I just seem to have a hard time making it a priority in my life. Well, that is about to change.

In reality, yoga means a lot to me. It makes my body strong and supple. It calms my mind and relieves my stress. It restores my tight runner’s body to healthy and flexible. Seriously, how can I read this paragraph and not get back on my yoga mat?

Yoga Outlet1 Back to the Yoga Mat in Style and with a ChallengeWell, I can’t. I am determined this time that I will make time for yoga. I have started already, at home, with short, easy poses to warm my body and make me remember everything that is good about a regular yoga practice.

To that end, I am challenging myself to Spring into Yoga in April. I’m aiming for a minimum of 10 minutes per day, every day, during the month. No fooling, I will start on April 1!

To that end, I am happy that I have a new association with Yoga Outlet that I know will help with my challenge (and my goal to make it a lifelong practice). I was contacted and given a chance to order an item of my choice. It gave me an opportunity to experience the great variety of options, excellent customer service, and ease of ordering available through Yoga Outlet.

I ordered this Lucy Heart Center top which I love so much! It fits really well (see above!) and the fabric feel so soft and silky. And I love the color!

Yoga Outlet Back to the Yoga Mat in Style and with a ChallengeYoga Outlet is the largest online Yoga Specialty shop in the US. What is really cool is that it is a yoga shop run by yogis. People who practice and love yoga select the products, which range from men’s and women’s yoga clothing and accessories, to mats, props, and other yoga gear.

Yoga Outlet works with many different manufacturers, large and small, to bring you the best quality and pricing available. They offer free shipping on orders over $49, quick delivery, and guaranteed satisfaction. The video below tells you a little more about the company.

I was so happy with my shopping experience (and my new top!) that I asked to become an affiliate for Yoga Outlet. I even set up my own store! I do earn store credit if you buy something, so if you want to feed my yoga obsession, shop away!

Will you join me in my Spring into Yoga Challenge? It is easy, just practice yoga for a minimum of 10 minutes a day, every day in April. Post an update on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #SpringintoYoga. Let us know you practiced your yoga for the day, share a favorite pose, or maybe a photo of you in a new yoga outfit. It is all for fun, because that is what yoga should be. There is even a prize! The winner, who will be chosen from those who post daily using the hashtag, will win a $50 gift card from Yoga Outlet! The winner will also be awesomely fit, lithe, and calm, but that goes without saying icon smile Back to the Yoga Mat in Style and with a Challenge

Yoga Outlet 2 Back to the Yoga Mat in Style and with a ChallengeThis is the reality of yoga at home for me, as much as I love it. I get a lot of help from my friends. So, I will get back also to my favorite yoga studio. And because a yoga challenge wouldn’t be complete without some actual challenges, I plan to get in a little restorative yoga during my Ragnar relay next week. Maybe my teammates will join me!

Do you struggle to find time for yoga? Do you have tips that will help me stay with my practice? Will you join me in the challenge?

I was just looking for a yoga challenge to keep me accountable as well. I plan on starting April 1 as well. The college I attend has classes only 3 days a week but I can do a home practice the other days. I’m in for the challenge

    LOVE that top on you!!!!!

I don’t have a lot of room to do much in my place & I honestly can say that I most likely would not do every day. :) I do want to do yoga but since I have never done it, I prefer to learn in a small dedicated class that I really can’t afford right now. I am a stickler for form & not injuring myself as I age so that is why I prefer to learn from a small class with a teacher. :)
