Weekly Reader: Wisdom from the Web

Have you ever read a great book, seen an inspiring movie, or heard a great joke, and thought, “I’ve got to share that!” Of course you have! Here are a few things from my Reader in the last week (or two) that inspired and motivated me, made me happy, sad, and angry, made my stomach growl, and made me laugh.

Birthday Weekend Weekly Reader: Wisdom from the WebI was inspired by my grandchildren this week. They make me want to stay strong and healthy so that I’ll be around to watch them grow up (and become a great grandma someday).

Speaking of inspiration..my girls’ cross country team finished the last league meet of the season today. With our two best runners suffering from a respiratory infection (twins, so they both got sick at the same time), our hopes were almost dimmed. However, the entire team, including the twins, tried so hard, and managed to finish fifth. While this was our worst finish of the season, our scores from all three meets are combined. That means we finished fourth overall this year, which is good enough to send us to CIF! So proud of all of my girls!

An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment. I do believe that you need to publish more about this issue, it may not be
a taboo matter but generally folks don’t speak about such subjects.
    To the next! Best wishes!!
